Spin me!

I remember this world globe we had growing up that was colorful and had the topography of the mountains, and we always used to spin it and ask where our adventures would end up. I wonder what happened to that globe? I liked it. Mom, any ideas? So, I am forever on the hunt for a perfect globe that I can spin, shove my finger into and start planning my escape!

I found a bunch of globes. I think if I were to really commit to this globe finding thing, I would check out the flea markets, etsy, ebay and thrift stores to find a gem. I am on the hunt.

I love the chalkboard globe. You can DIY by finding an inexpensive globe, spray painting it with Chalkboard paint (range of colors), free hand (if you are brave) or print out a map of each continent with/without countries and trace it on to the globe with transfer paper!

I am dreaming of....

I think it is Summer in Tahiti now. Anyone want to sponsor my trip there for "research" on Architecture, Building, and Design Practices?

She has a bit (or a lot) of country in her and we are celebrating as we did last year at the Creekside Bar for Country night where we are decked out in our boots, buckles and plaid. I created 2  HF Boards (1 classic and 1 modern) for a Cowgirl below! Happy Birthday Angie!

Gift Guide 4-for the DOGS!

We already have dog stockings and we already have presents to put in them. I bought them a month ago. Clearly, Bo, Frankie, & Rommel come before everyone else. I didn't include Cats in this post because at this time in my life, I am not a fan. Did I just say that? Sorry Mom! Maybe that will change in 20 years, well, actually probably not. However, if you are a lover of Cats, you can still get some ideas and resources for your gifts. These are all under $50 and will be loved by fat dogs (Bo), confused dogs (Frankie), and crazy dogs (Rommel) everywhere! Happy Shopping!

I found an awesome Etsy shop called African Grey and had this digital illustrations done of the dogs. These are the proofs. They will be going up soon. Pricing is for an 8 x 10. $25
