It's illegal!!

In my book, it's "illegal" to start getting excited for the "C" word.........No,I'm not a pervert. I mean CHRISTMAS! It's not even Thanksgiving yet and everyone is already going crazy.  So,  I just couldn't resist. I just bought this:

It's a down loadable Advent Calendar from JulieMarie on Etsy that I can't wait to make and put treats inside of, and hang in the house. It was only $6.50 which is cheap compared to the time I would spend making this template myself. I just have to print, assemble, tie onto ribbon or string and hang anywhere. I hope I don't get arrested (by Lumberjack) for buying  something related to the "C" word!

Etsy rocks my socks!

So, I've been away.....sorry about that! Lot's of things happening, BUT...one thing I am obsessed with (and I get this way often and about a lot of things) is ETSY! Yes, Etsy has been around for a bit and I find that sometimes it is like Ebay, where there is way too much stuff and I can't narrow it down, but you can find great deals and original creative design worldwide, including art, decor, stationary, plants, and baked delights. I just bought this for Lumberjack....I thought it was funny...not sure WHERE to put it though. I have tagged  352 shops as "favorites." Do I have a problem? Airstream Love

I love me an Airstream. I want to look at one,I want to travel in one, I want to own one, I want to......My event planning friend Angie sent me this photo and I died, because I have mentioned that I wanted an Airstream (alongside big lifted trucks and Lumberjack's 1972 Chevy) as a prop at my future wedding. I say i do!

Happy Friday! Cocktails Anyone?

I am not much of a cocktail drinker, but I am designing a "bar/drink server" (more on that later) for those who venture over to my house and want one. I imagine bringing back the "old days" when a host or hostess would invite one over for a drink. I like that. Maybe when I find a signature beverage, I will get to be in the club. Dreaming of a real Fall

Its Fall in California which means its is occasionally cool and occasionally hot with days in the 80s (like today) but usually something in between. We aren't looking forward to snow because we wont have any and haven't seen much change in the foliage. I would like a real FALL please. Today leaves me dreaming of escaping into the mountains. I wouldn't mind having a vacation in this house. Yes Please!
